U.S. House (2/01) -- Recently, a bipartisan group of 55 lawmakers wrote a letter to President Joe Biden asking that the Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) be restored to a Cabinet-level position. The group of lawmakers urged the President to adopt the change to push ending the drug crisis as a top priority, as re-elevating ONDCP to the cabinet would give it the full resources of the federal government and improve national collaboration efforts.
